It tells the love story of a South Korean heiress and a North Korean army officer. One day, while paragliding, Yoon Se Ri (Son Ye-jin) encounters an immense storm, causing her to crash land in North Korea, where she meets Ri Jeong Hyuk (Hyun Bin), a North Korean army officer who is also an elite. He agrees to help her return to South Korea. Over time, they fall in love, despite the divide and troubles between their home countries.

Ri Jeong Hyuk, a captain in the Korean People's Army and second son of an elite North Korean family who is the first person to find Se-ri. Formerly a skilled pianist, he joined the army following the death of his brother, which he is still investigating.

Yoon Se Ri, a prominent South Korean chaebol heiress and CEO of her own successful fashion company, Se-ri's Choice, who has just been tapped to lead her father's company. However, she crash-lands in North Korean territory following a paragliding mishap and must now rely on Jeong Hyuk to get her back across the border before her overly ambitious brothers screw her over.

It holds all the information you require about love. Sacrifice is the peak of everything. One's capabilities are limited. However, one can choose whether to let go or cling on. I believe it is best to leave everything as practical as possible and allow fate to crash and land on you. I highly recommend listening to the drama's soundtrack, particularly IU's I Give You My Heart and Davichi's Sunset. Every song sung by Davichi and IU will leave you speechless. Have faith in me.

My eyes welled up with tears as I watched this scene. I lost track of the number of times I cried while watching this heartbreaking scenario. My heart breaks, especially as he warns her not to run. While she rushed, pouring out her worries and anxieties, you could sense his care, love, and genuineness for her. Their chemistry is incredible, not to mention their particular talents and how they depicted love in its purest form. The longing and anguish of missing someone you care about while knowing your chances of seeing them again are minimal. This entire drama was nailed by them.

    I wrote this when I was twenty years old. Looking back at it now, it takes me to the precise time when I wrote it. That was when I was at my lowest. I blame myself for not being able to handle my problems. Nothing like this would happen if I were tough and mature enough. No one would be forced to listen to my rants every time. It's awful how I see all my friends attempting to comprehend my situation, even though they know deep down that they, too, are unsure of how to respond in my circumstance. This pain never went away; instead, it became more apparent as each day passed. I was very befuddled by this circumstance. I'm exhausted by the uncertainties that have crept into my thoughts.
